How it works

From upload to executed PDF in five steps

No hidden complexity. Five steps, end-to-end, with the evidence chain captured at the moment that matters.

1

Upload your DOCX or PDF

Drag a Word document or a PDF into the dashboard. DOCX files are converted to PDF in roughly three seconds using LibreOffice headless on the server (full font fidelity for English, Thai, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish — 307 fonts installed). The original DOCX is also kept so we can re-fill placeholders if you use the template flow later.

2

Place signature fields

The Prepare wizard pops open automatically the first time you upload — pick Party A (you, the sender) or Party B (the recipient), then click on the PDF where the signature should land. The wizard re-opens after each placement until at least one A and one B placement exist. You can place as many as you need; the system handles multi-signer routing for you.

3

Send to the recipient

Each signature request gets a unique 8-character reference code (alphabet excludes 0, O, 1, I, L so it's never ambiguous). The recipient gets an email with the agreement, a link, and the reference code in the subject line. They click, the signing ceremony starts.

4

The signing ceremony

Recipient lands on a clean page. Step 1: location permission (GPS captured). Step 2: live selfie via the device camera (we handle iOS Safari quirks and older Android Chrome with fallback constraints). Step 3: draw or type the signature. Step 4: review and submit. Tab auto-closes 1.5 seconds after success — no "thanks for signing" dead end.

5

Counter-sign and complete

Status flips to PARTIALLY_SIGNED with an orange "Counter-sign required" badge. You sign from the dashboard using the same ceremony. The system then stamps both signatures into the PDF — captions show party label, name, date, lat/long, address, IP, with the live selfie thumbnail at the foot of each signature block. A Certificate of Completion is generated and the final PDF is emailed to all parties with the brand-footer hyperlink and QR code on every page.
