For legal & in-house counsel

Evidence your litigation team will thank you for

DPAs, settlement agreements, board consents, NDAs with regulators, vendor data processing addenda — every executed file ships with the proof bundle that wins motions, not the screenshot you scramble to assemble at 3 a.m.

The pain

Most e-signature evidence packages are good enough for the 95% case. But when things go wrong — a counter-party claims they didn't sign, an employee disputes their IP assignment, a regulator asks for the chain of custody on a DPA — the legal team often discovers the "audit trail" is a CSV export with editable timestamps and no integrity check. It survives most discovery requests because nobody pushes hard. It would not survive an aggressive cross-examination.

The flow with eSignature.llc

  1. Document is uploaded — SHA-256 hash recorded at upload time.
  2. Every action — view, signature placement, signing event, counter-sign, completion email — writes a row to an append-only AuditLog table. Rows are never updated or deleted.
  3. Each AuditLog row is hash-chained: row N's hash includes row N-1's hash. Any tampering breaks the chain and is detectable in seconds.
  4. Each signature captures and embeds: live selfie, lat/long to 6 decimal places, GPS accuracy radius, server-side UTC timestamp, IP, user-agent, reverse-geocoded address.
  5. When the document is fully executed, a separate Certificate of Completion PDF is auto-generated. It lists every signer, timestamp, IP, location, and signature thumbnail in a court-ready format.
  6. The executed PDF is sealed by pdf-lib. Any byte change invalidates the public verify URL — which is printed as a QR code on every page.

The evidence — by jurisdiction

  • Thailand: meets ETA B.E. 2544 Section 26 (Reliable Electronic Signature) — uniqueness, sole control, tamper-detection.
  • Singapore: meets ETA 2010 Part 4 (Secure Electronic Signature) — prescribed security procedure, sole control, tamper-detection.
  • USA: ESIGN/UETA-compliant Electronic Signature — clear consumer-disclosure flow, attribution, intent, association, retainable copy.
  • EU: SES + AdES practical equivalent — uniqueness via authenticated accounts, sole-control via authenticated device + selfie.
  • India: Section 65B-aligned audit log for admissibility of electronic records under the Indian Evidence Act.

The outcome

In-house counsel using eSignature.llc spend less time assembling evidence packets ad hoc, because the packet is already on page 1 of every executed PDF. The hash chain has gone unchallenged in three discovery requests we've been told about. And because everything except QES is included in the standard tier, you don't triage which agreements get the "serious" product and which get the cheap one — they all get the same evidence chain.
